I have 4650 miles on the bike now. ( milage will go up, still riding)
Oil changed at 3000 miles
Will need new rear tire shortly.

I used the
Shorai LFX Battery - LFX18A1
which has a very nice kit of rigid foam stick on padding to mimic the original battery size. Used it on a couple of bikes, very slick. This may be overkill of a battery for the 701, but the electronics on this bike does not like marginal batteries.
Tank recall done by dealer. Occasional flaky display were an early issue for me - I dropped in a lithium battery and that all went away ( I bought a 2019 in 2020 and the battery had 401/2018 had written in marker on it :(

It is obnoxious starting up in front of folks - I had a first year BMW K75S that didn't have the piston rings pinned, and when you left it on the sidestand for too long (leaning towards the heads), you would get a big blue cloud of somoke on startup for a 30 seconds or so. Very embarrassing...
