Also check the seal behind the front sprocket. If the chain has been over tightened ( as mine was ) when serviced it can cause the oil to escape. The technicians here in Spain seem not to have been trained correctly

    Issues fixed under warranty

@jacasado, I am not sure what would fit. However I assume a shield for the KTM 790/890, CF Moto 800/1000 etc would fit as they are essentially the same engine.

    Issues fixed under warranty

I have seen this on the internet a few times Mainly on the KTM 790/890. Heat from the exhaust/cat. I have also seen heat shields to help with the problem. Hope your dealer here in Spain is better than mine ( they can´t even tighten the chain correctly) Hope it´s fixed quickly and competently.

You shouldn´t have to do it yourself. I would deffo go with @Tom suggestion, but use Samco or similar hoses with good quality clamps. Édit´ also sounds like you may have an airlock which is forcing the hose to come off. It´s hot hereat the moment, how´s the temperature of the bike? Ok?

@Funis , that´s my exhaust in the photo. You need to remove the carbon end cap first. Then you can drill out the spot weld that holds the DB killer in place and pull it out. You can just see the spot weld in the photo.

    Exhaust

I got away with my unruly behaviour as a youngster thankfully. The police used to be a pain on the road to Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale they even had unmarked Subaru Impreza's assisted by helicopters. What's the fun in that. Much more relaxed here up in the mountains in Andalusia.

    Exhaust

@Tom, In the UK there is no need for an exhaust to be homologated like Germany and Spain. If you get stopped by the police you are at the mercy of the officer on the day, a lot of them are ¨bike savvy¨ As @Griffo46 says the MOT test depends on the garage and they can be very...
