Extreme downpour after that photo. I need new tires that perform better on the wet, the rear one slid a couple of times.

I am confident the 701 engine wont need much twist to coerce about any tire to slide in the wet.

Good news is, you can practice powerslides at lower speeds.

How is the market there for tires... is anything available for those offroad wheels, or will you need to get SuMo rims as well?

Well, that is a big question I have. I've read a lot about Supermoto conversions, which would use two 17" wheels. However I would prefer to keep the cost down and just get new tires. I can get the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR that come with the Norden or the Continental Trail Attack 3. At least does two models come in sizes that work for my bike. That would set me back around $300-$350 for tires, plus installation and shipping.

Getting Warp9 wheels and tires would easily be $1,500. And I'm not sure if I would still need to change the caliper. I would like to know what the benefit would be of a full SM conversion, when I wont be racing the bike. I just want better grip on wet roads, it rains almost every day here in the mountains, where we like to ride.
