New Bike, now all I need is a Plaid Shirt.

No not yet.. currently I wait for my new shock to arrive..
But brembo SC is also street legal in Germany since last year.. I just got braking because of good marketing from offroadbiker at the KTM forum and a special price at black Friday..

Do you have link where I can find this information that Brembo SC are now street legal in Germany?
Can you please give a hint to the thread at the mentioned KTM forum?

The shops I can find describe them as not road legal. Also interesting that the Brembo search puts out SR pads and not SC pads for the Vitpilen. I assume that is the same pad but only different naming.

Yeah, mainly the look of "quality"; the lower grade looking copper plating on the Braking one I looked at turned me away.

Could have been a batch or a single item, just didnt like it.

I just ordered the brembo 07BB19SR for the front and the 07BB02SX for the rear. Both should be ECE90 road legal in Europe.

If the weather gets better and I could get some driving time with these brake pads I will post my experience.

I think at least at the front the brake pad back plate isn't visible. Only in the rear at the backside of the caliper the back plate is visible.

😎
I didnt mean the looks for the reason that it "looks cool".

Although i do know some people who picked up the chicks cause they had painted brake calipers... according to them...

...thats not what I meant though...

I mean that the copper plating seems like it serves a function, and the one I seen appeared to have low quality of the copper plating as the color looks like it is not even, and peoples like me might think that if it is not looking good, then of course the function of the copper plating will also not work good.

Know what I mean?

Colouring isn't great, but I guess it's anodized steel and as long as the surface is even it's good.. there was also a "braking quality control" sticker on the package..

Someone told me one time why the sinter pads all have the copper plating, but it was a long esplaination and I got distracted...

Those ones look better than the ones I seen though, thats for sure.

No paste.

And if a am not mistaken the copper plating has to do with thermal loading capacity or thermodynomagical something or other.
