Would figure that the exhaust companies will pull out a bunch of revised versions of 890 stuff in the near future... for now its nice to see that Husqvarna already rolled out 2 Options!

My guess is anything that fits an 890 will fit a 901, so theres shedloads of silencers already, but they aren’t listed for the 901 yet, time will rectify this situation. Personally I quite like the OEM silencer, but a black one like on the concept would have been nice.

Well, the Remus in black is a couple hundred bucks "inexpensive-er" as the Akrapovic, both are Titanium and advertise weight savings.

The Akrapovic lists specifically 1kg weight savings and Dakar Winner Looks.

Ordered one from Wing Exhausts. Will come in full black within couple of weeks. Saw some reviews that the Akra didnt add much of a sound improvement.

@BISavage ... I need some noise level. Helps in knowing when to shift easier, plus they hear you a bit better when you riding between two lanes in a traffic jam.
The Wing Exhausts come with an easy removable or reattaching db-killer. Costs 500 euro.

I drove the 890 and was positively surprised how the bike sounded.

The Norden's 88db should be audible... below 85 is where I start to wonder if it stalled or is still running....

Ordered in the USA, its with a spark arrestor. In the EU just a normal db-killer

In the US you often do not need a cat, except California, whereas in the EU you do need a cat.

Cat on the 890 and 901 is stamped and states it is a spark arrestor. For those that remove the Cat they need a spark arrestor to ride anywhere off-pavement in BC.

I like the all black version. They (MIvv) make a crazy number of pipes for bikes apparently. I initially was looking at one for my Panigale and viola! found one for the new ride.

They are not only EU5 but also CARB

Looks like they are all screw on type and not strap type, the mount hole is in the same place on the 901 as the 790/890?
