So i have investigated online and would like first hand opinions on tuning upgrades for the svartpilen

1.Exhaust
2.Air filter
3.ECU Piggy Back
4.Remap & Rolling Road

I wont be doing a decat replacment until the warranty has expired altho if it helps the engine perform better im game

I know that husqvarna shares a compatibility with its KTM distant cousin im not looking for mass power just unique touches

You basically got these options:

1. keep the cat. Remove the airbox lid. Choose a slip-on to your choice, stock ECU. Top hp stays the same, nearly 10% improvement in midrange torque.

2. remove the cat -link pipe-, remove the airbox lid, and use a piggy back module (PV5) with the proper map. Up to 5hp extra top end power, midrange stays roughly the same (may suffer a bit).

3. And if you live in Germany you could opt for the Pirate racing airbox mod with PV5. This requires sending in your stock airbox.

Also, shorten the gearing from 16-40 to 15-42 (that's an instant 10% torque increase at any rev, in any gear!), the Svat/Vit 701 are way overgeared.

A drop in K&N filter does nothing btw

Excellent thankyou for the info

Would i need to replace the chain if i changed the gearing or would it be a simple adjustment at the rear end ?

I have also seen what has been called boosterplug for better fuel efficiency as this wasnt mentioned should i stay clear of this option ?

OMG! Why would they put that lid on there when the seat sits atop that too?! This is the easier power mod I've ever seen! LOL

Thank you so much for posting it!

for the Sake of each Gram`s

remove the unnecessary kilos like fender/plate holder /lighter battery & change gearing easy to do with the front sprocket , same chain..&.. open lid of cause

and by finally installing this

the Carbon Foot protection kit .... you're official tuned^^but only with the carbon foot pac & a WP sticker
you will reach insane galaxy type of boost;)

I changed my exhaust to an Arrow mid and muffler, removed the air box lid, added the Rottweiler fuel dongle and SAS removal kit. I’m very happy with the result. No surging anywhere and no popping on decel.
By mid do you mean a decat?

I'm planning on trying that setup: Shark src4, decat, airbox lid removed, fuel dongle and sas removal.

From pirate racing: with a decat you need a PCV etc

Without a fuel correction, your engine would run to lean..

Or iam wrong??

I do not think you "need" a tune it as much as some other bike do.

I think it is more that there will be more losses with less benefit, and when you tune it you can minimize the losses and create benefits.
