Fender Eliminator

Looks like a plastic composite? That would be cheeky for the £200 price they charge. Would also make it less durable.

A web-find of the "new" version of the Duke 390 2024+ tail tidy, that is now also "produced from strong composite" instead of aluminum... 🙃

One caveat about the Evotech is their exhaust heat guard fits the Euro turn signals which are smaller (and brighter) than the USA signals. The exhaust heat guard does not fit the USA DOT signals.

It looks really good. I think you should buy some Euro-spec turn signals, much prettier!

LOVE your licence plate!
Thanks. 🙂 I'm forced to research replacement turn signals now that I've partially melted one. :( The Euro signals do look good and I'm looking at smaller ones also. It gets a bit involved and confusing with PNP or splice issues, resistors or load equalizers, etc. I'd rather have short signals than use a heat shield but I am open to solutions. 😛

Yes, it is sturdy, rigid and seems well engineered--the tag plate is aluminum. I’ve no complaints except the heat guard I previously mentioned which I should have anticipated.
Thanks for the feedback.
Personally, I think I still prefer the look of the 390 and 1290 tail tidies adapted to fit the 801; and I generally prefer aluminum over composite materials anyway.
However, if stability and build quality are fine, I would also choose this one over the other off-the-shelf solutions.

You could try the MotoGadget M Blaze lights... They are very bright and tiny

Does anyone know where I can buy the Euro "shorter-than-USA" turn signals (#'s 21014025100 & 21014026100) and maybe the correct resistors?

You can order the turn signals from MSP / Motorcycle Spare Parts in the Netherlands.
They likely don’t have them in stock either, but they can get them from the central warehouse within 6–8 days and then ship them out.
MSP also appears to be one of the few European retailers currently still shipping to the USA.

Regarding the resistors: I seem to recall reading somewhere that, if necessary, the dealer can adjust the software settings when converting from DOT-spec to EU-spec turn signals. But you should double-check this with the dealer, though.

Thanks. 👍 That’s ***very helpful***!
Searching Euro sources was making me giddy. 😜 I will certainly look into your recommendation and, yes, I have read that dealers can switch USA ECU’s to “LED mode”. 🙂
