Installed today, piece of cake. Took about half an hour and no bloodshed or scars. It is extremely solid and in clear trim doesn't look too bad to me. If I want to go without it, only four hex screws and one minute away. Weather here is looking dismal for a few days so performance review to follow.PXL_20260426_210923739.jpg

Have now put some miles on with the Puig, and it is not coming off. Works exactly as I had hoped. Takes the blast off the body and leaves my head in clean air. Put on a set of bar end mirrors (Fenrir) as well. Also a big improvement. I can see more than my shoulders and they are crystal clear.

How tall are you? I was contemplating of getting PUIG windshield, afraid of getting buffeting air at higher speed.

Hate the included side mirrors, absolute worthless during traffic

5'8"' and 30" inseam. No increase in head buffeting that I notice, although I am still respecting the 6500 rpm breakin limit. I think one could tuck behind it at high speeds. Maybe not ideal for extended periods.

Happy to report two things: you can hit 100mph before 6500rpm and no extra buffeting! 😃

Nice mods! Maybe this PUIG windscreen will be a future upgrade. Which model is it and where did you order it from? Thanks and happy riding!

Looks great from this angle!
And the benefits sound pretty good as well.

Is it possible to show some side shots from a distance?
I'm kinda struggling to get the 'overall' look of the bike with this screen fitted.

Does it fit the style? Is it just a practical screen? Or both ?;)

I was always quite sceptical about the puig shield (but have so far only seen some pics of the tinted one attached to the bike), but the transparent one is very unobtrusive and fits the bike indeed quite nicely.

Come on Tom !

What would be the point of all the beautiful mods you made to your bike if it is to ruin it afterwards with that thang !? 😆
Would be criminal ! ^^

Joking folks !

The 801 is a real nightmare on highways for me ! Each time it feels like like i am riding through a storm, moving and shaking all places ! Awful ! it would definitely need a fix like this if i were to drive there often...

( which i don't, luckily for me and my bike's look ! :ROFLMAO: )

LOL... Since my typical rides are 300-400 km day trips; mostly on country roads and small back roads, I see no need to attach a windshield at all. But nevertheless it looks better than expected.
