I think i have messed up !

Always one for messing about ( modifying) and this weekend i removed the big heavy cat thing on the back of the 2019 401 exhaust (it sits so close to the rear shock i couldnt get a shock sock on without it melting)
I got a mid link pipe from amazon, it was a doddle to fit and for £45 quid was well made, nice welds and some billet fittings .
I took her out for a test today and the vibrations are huge it is like a different bike :( i can live with it as i only use it for commuting but i thought i would let you guys know incase you do big miles.

On a positive note the sound is fabulous really deep rumble, really good for a little single, i have a Remus end can that i might pop the baffle back in now as long as it does not change the tone
 
Removing the resonator shouldn't give you more vibration.
 
i will check , the old resonator had rubber bushes where it fixed to the frame and this does not, also i have popped the baffle back in the remus can to lower the dbs as it is v loud this has reduced the vibes slightly , still very loud so may test with the original can
