Well here we go again 🤨
My Friday afternoon built 701 strikes again.
Just left work and found when I started her up no life at all from the dashboard (display or indicator lamps) ! But hey the mapping, traction control and abs lights "ALL" lit up like a multi colour Christmas tree.
And just to make the dark commute interesting the indicators aren't working either.
I'm suspecting maybe the ignition switch (possibly felt a slightly different feeling when I turned the key (though may be dreaming).
Anyone out there got any ideas ? Mechanical fault ? Or possibly electronics / electrical (could a reset be done by disconnecting the battery). Only 1800 miles on the clock.

Thanks guys

Just an update. Checked all secondary fuses and found none blown. Removed grey plug and replaced ( not wired) on ECU. Tried ignition again and found dash and warning light now normal. Can only presume poor connection on removed fuse or removing ECU plug has reset dash.
Only issue is dash is now not indicating previous mileage. Hopefully this will reset after I have ridden the motorcycle from a NVM 🤞
Not a good sign if corrosion is an issue at this early age

Hi,
I don't know what your problem is, but I had a 701 Svartpilen and I had a lot of electronic problems (headlight that wouldn't turn on or would turn off while riding! Not easy to light up with your indicator 🤣).
Luckily, it was still under warranty at the time and they covered the repairs each time. More recently, I had a 701 Enduro and now an 801 Svart, but I haven't had any problems like that.

Not really sure why this was posted in the 801 forum when there are ones for 701 and Enduro/supermoto
