Great tip👍🏻

A nice little afternoon ride. Around 270km (168mi) in total. First stop at an art exhibition about an hour and a half away from where I live (Wanås Konst), then small country roads towards the east coast and a small town called Kivik. The pictures down below are from that place.
Filled up gas twice (since I'm a chicken and don't trust the fuel gauge), 9,5l (2,5 US gallons) total fuel used. So around 3,5l/100km (67,2mi/US gallon). As you can tell by these numbers, it was mostly touring and pretty much no hooliganism at all 😄
Now my back hurts, since I'm old and have a messed up back, but a nice cold Gambrinus pilsner cures that pretty quickly 🍻 Totally worth it!

Härligt! Riktigt fint där nere på Österlen. Kul med svenska medlemmar också. Känner igen mig själv. Är inte heller nån ungdom längre. Att knäppa en god öl efter en tur på hojen så här på sommaren är nog alldeles extra😊.

Wednesday evening offered lovely bike weather, so I took a ride to the southwestern slope of Romeleåsen (Romele ridge in english I guess :) ) about 30km from where I live.
It's a lovely spot that I sometimes pass on my rides, and I always take a break there. Sitting down 15-20 minutes and simply enjoying the view and the calm there is very therapeutical. And there's some really nice roads on the way there, small and sometimes twisty roads through forests and fields.

Did another 15 mile ride in the sand and trails with the svart 401 and new Dunlop mutant tires. Had a surprising amount of grip and traction until the sand got about 4-6 inches deep. Front end tracked a little worse than the scorpions but still ride able. Never got stuck but really took alot of work to keep it going in the deep sand. Exhausting to ride and the bike really isn’t that happy doing that kind of riding but fun to push it. Curious to see what breaks first.

The stock antifreeze isnt the best on the 401... and I would recommend checking the radiator hoses regularly for wear, where they touch the engine block especially. (Dont ask me how I know :sneaky:)
