401 SVARTPILEN /// Black widow cat delete

Hi everyone,

I'm looking around to see if anybody has purchased and installed the cat-chamber-delete for a 401...
The intent here is to retrofit an older exhaust on a 2022 model to gain a little bit of ground, clearance and sound.

I'm wondering about the ease of installation, quality of the build, fit.. etc... also if you think it's garbage and if you can recommend a better option.

There's information about this, but bits and pieces spread everywhere.

From all my research and feedback, if you want to reroute the exhaust you have two options:
1) you can get from ebay the entire pipe that will end up attaching to your stock muffler or any 2022 muffler. This is a rerout that is considering the new clamp system and the location of the link pike that goes to the muffler. Im going this way, but it has still not arrived so I can't confirm yet how exact is the fit. Example link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/363891677426


2) Is to get the old exhaust, but you will have to order everything, from the header, to the muffler. The pipe clamps are different, link pipe end in an slightly different location, because of this you cannot mix parts. From the link to the Black Widow decat, the decat pipe would be just one of the parts to replace. You will also need the header pipe, the link pipe and well muffler, all 2018-19 model.

I already have an original LV10 for the 2021 model, so I had to go with the first option. But, it might be cheaper to do the second one from scratch.

I saw something similar in a You tube vid and it turned out the cat bulge was empty.
