Hello all,

I'm installing Zeta handgaurd LED flashers to replace my front turn signals on my FE501s but am unsure of how to wire them. The Zeta LED flashers have a red and black wire for each flasher. The 501s has a red and brown wire for the right turn signal and a brown and black wire for the left turn signal. Not sure how to wire the LED flashers. Has anyone hooked up Zeta LED flashers on a 501s? Do I need another component?

Electrical is not my strength. Thanks for any help!

This appears to be a resistance issue meaning the resistance of the LEDs is lower than the stock blinkers. If I wire them in paralle, everything works fine. When I just wire the new LED, both flash instead of one. If I go back to parallel but remove the bulbs, both flash, put the bulbs back and the LEDs work fine.

Typically when converting from incandescent to LED turn signal bulbs bulbs, you may need a new flasher relay for LEDs...
I posted about swapping on 401 here... that discussion may help.

Thanks for the info. I had already ordered a 10ohm resister for each flasher and they do work but I'm going to look into trying to get a new flasher relay as that does seem clearer. Thanks again for the help!!
