Vitpilen 701 front brake switch removal

Hello all,

A bit of a silly question, been trying to remove the front brake switch on my 2018 Vitpilen 701. It needs replacing - but I cant quite figure out how to remove it. I dont see a screw or bolt anywhere and I dont have the new one just yet. Anyone know more about this? Thanks all!
 
HI,

I replaced mine a few months ago, it clips in. use a thin/small screw driver and wedge it in where it meets the metal part and push it down. It will pop out. The new one just clips back into the hole underneath.

Thanks! I did get the new part eventually and the instructions did say that. Its easier than I thought but never hurts to ask.
