Visor Down rides the Norden 901 On and Off Road

Weird, Visor Down is somewhat the only one with a quite negative review. The other 17 reviews I saw so far went all about "incredible, fantastic, super, amazing, ... "
Maybe he just shouldn't compare it with the 890 rally. Instead compare it within it's niche, like the Tiger 900 or maybe even with a GS. But comparing it with a hardcore offroader seems a bit ... lame.

Visor Down usually provides view points outside of the “cookie cutter” realm. Definitely a source for knowledgeable yet honest opinions unlike other sites/videos offering negative opinion with inaccurate information.

Hmm... to me, much of the complaint was tire related. You just can't compare bikes, especially off road, with different tires. You end up mostly just comparing the tires, IMO.
I was REALLY disappointed the author was so hung up on that factor. And then he says completely nonsensical stuff like this... "If you change the tires it would transform the riding experience but I don't think it would totally change it." Wait. what? Which is it? But of course going to full road tires or more off road knobby would really change it!
I'd be curious on a side by side matchup with the KTM on identical tires.
And I'm not convinced the center of gravity is as different from the KTM as he says... especially when you consider that this will be customized by the luggage that most will mount on the bike. And the Husky is higher with more suspension travel and ground clearance... do you want suspension travel and ground clearance or low CoG? You have to pick! As he says the Husky suspension "is super plush...noticeably plusher and more forgiving than the 890".
So essentially, he didn't like the tire choice nor that they were used squared off tires, he didn't like the taller longer travel more plush suspension (because higher CoG) and he didn't like the smaller/taller gas tank (because higher CoG). Maybe he just gained a couple pounds on this junket and that was the CoG problem...
Most of these type bikes will be differentiated by the skill of the rider, the tires and the mods.
That said, no bike is universally loved, so you have to expect some less than enthusiastic reviews.

Old tires on a test review is pretty lame, not that the 90/10 STR's were ever really "off road" tires.

But really, what is "a 105 hp is only good enough for most of the road riding i ever do" supposed to mean?

I will call that statement and raise with:

"Strawberry Bubble Tape is only good for most of the butt kicking I ever do"...🙉

I'm not 100% sure, but I think in the 44teeth review, Fagan mentions that the only guy who was negative about the Norden, was also the only one who crashed the bike during the event. Maybe that was the visor down guy.
