Throttle issue

Hello everybody on the forum, writing from Italy, not kwowing exaclty what to search in the forum
I'll try to explain the problem I have since a week ago on my 2022 Svartpilen:

After more thant 8000 km, last week while riding in 6th gear at 80 Kmh, the throttle stopped working and the bike remained at the minimun rpm,

so I stopped and switched off and on and the engine light came on, the throttle started to function regularly agai,

Then yesterday on a long rage trip on the Alps, it happened again three times, in different situation, so I asked my father what was going on, he tested the bike and be succeful to replicate the issue, when travelling at 75/80 kmh for less than 2/3 km.

If there is someone who experienced the same issue and found the fix I would really appreciate any suggestion

First thing I would try is the 15 minute idle reset.

Otherwise it could be a number of things.

The throttle is simply two electrical position sensors in the grip that go into the ECU, there are no cables. I would inspect the throttle connectors for any corrosion or water damage. If nothing is obvious I’d have the dealer replace the throttle.

It’s fortunate that you can replicate the problem, it’ll make it easy to determine if you or your dealer have fixed the issue.
