Hi. I have a TE300i 2021. I bought a ELM327 OBDII OBD2 WiFi Car Diagnostic Wireless Scanner Tool and a
6 Pin to 16 Pin OBDII Connector Diagnostic Tool Cable Adapter listed for KTM Motorcycle. (I assumed it would be the same cable for 300 huskies. see photos)
I have a iphone and got the Car Scanner free app as recommended on several youtube vids for both KTM and Huski models. Started bike, phone detected hardware so no issue there. But app does not want to connect to ECU. (lights flash, Iphone detects scanner tool) Anyone else have this problem? When I was setting up the CAr Scanner app, it gives a list a vehicle profiles to choose from. There was no Husqvarna profile listed just KTM. I selected KTM assuming that this profile would cover Husqvarna since I believe they run the exact same hardware and ecu. I'm not sure at this stage if it is the cable adaptor configuration or the app and the vehicle profile.
Any help would be appreciated. Tony
ps: bike runs fine. i just thought a scanner would be a useful tool for monitoring/adjusting various parameters when servicing.
