Morning guys.
I would like to fit some bar end mirrors bur don’t want to spend the evotech mega price.
When I take the bar end off the plug seems welded to the inside of the bar so expanding inserts that come with most of the aftermarket mirrors would not fit. Anyone came across this before and have a solution?

Also has anyone fitted a front sprocket with one extra tooth?

Thanks

I have a 2023 Svart, I tried everything to remove the threaded inserts from my bar ends to no avail. I used the original bolt from the bar end weights to hold on my bar end mirrors. The bolt was smaller than the one from the new mirror so I used some alloy tube to reduce the hole.
I could not find a 16 front sprocket in the UK so ended up buying a 42 rear, on my modded 2023 version this has calmed the wildness of the constant gear changing and smoothed the quick shifter out a bit. I am not sure if I like the way it lowers the ‘feel’ of the the acceleration and may go back to the standard gearing in the spring next year. If you like the manic gear changing and hooliganism fast accelerating I would leave the gearing. Just to add I never ride on dual carriageway or in town unless I have to, I live in rural Suffolk and use my bike purely for pleasure rides.

The Allen bolt once tightened to your specs stops them rotating either forwards or backwards.
The bar end inserts on the OEM bars are solid steel so no need to be tentative when tightening.
PS i added extra to my original reply

I had a the same problem with my Honda CB300R. The vibration dampers inside the bars were impossible to remove and I wanted to use bar end mirrors.

So, I merely got new bars! I wanted a lower bar anyway.

I'm using the stock mirrors on my Vit with CNCd mirror extenders, hardly noticeable.

I'll bet the Husqvarna bar end mirrors would work for you but they are not cheap.

If the 2024 and 2023 have the same bars, then these will work
