So, in order to top my previous personal record for budget exhaust setup I scored a 390 pipe on Amazon for 24 bucks (including 1 cent shipping...)
Took at least 4 weeks to arrive.
Its looks like an SC Project although according to the Official SC Project website description of what fakes look like, it could be a fake.
Test fitting it, I noticed the welded on spring tabs on the mid pipe are not equal distance apart which resulted in the top spring being too long. The muffler part looked aight, but the mid pipe looked fugly.
It has no db killer in either end, and it came with a blank e-approval label so you can print your name and address on it if you want; I guess.
To make it work I shortened the spring and upgraded the link pipe "Rolling Stones" style.
Haven't repacked it yet, but I would say it needs it as the stuff it came with is visibly reducing itself after 1 test lap, and smells itchy...
Its the lightest slip on so far at 1142g, which will probably go up with a full load of quality packing.
No droning at highway speed, actually sounds and runs much better than the badass pipe, good sound level too...except at exactly 4000-5000 its laud as truck...
