Yes - you remove one of the three rods, then slip the plates between the spring loops, re-insert the rod and start screwing down the nuts. You do have to go around and do each nut a bit at a time, unlike the motion pro one. I needed something quick, and this worked fine.Do you push on both ends of the spring with that?
