Hello everyone, I'm Nadir, Italian in London, I would like to show you my little project with my Svartpilen.
I've been lucky and in my life I've never bought a motor vehicle. I've used a couple of scooters, a motocross bike, a couple of cars and finally at 37 I managed to buy a motorbike, the most beautiful motorbike I've ever seen in my life.
I started to change some accessories and I fell more and more in love with this splendid motorbike.

Until 8 months after buying it an old lady crashed into me and the motorbike was considered irreparable.

First of all I bought a second svartpilen to go to work and then I promised myself to fix up what for me is the first real vehicle that I feel 100% mine.
A year has passed, a lot of work and a lot of money and I want to show you where I've arrived. There are still many things I want to change and little by little I hope to be able to create the best svart 401 on the market.

Here is the list of parts and modifications and the wishlist for the next few parts.

If you have any suggestion to make this the most premium pilen in the planet is very welcome!

That is really nice, the brown seat, luggage, tank and bar pad make it look rugged and purposeful. I was not a fan of the screen but on yours, in dark with the headlight guard it looks great. The best bit on the bike is the high level to underslung titanium exhaust. It really frees up the look of the space in between the front wheel and the engine. I thought about buying a 2019 front and mid pipe but I’ve spent enough on mine already! There is still time though!
Good work all round, very nice. 👍

Thank you Jester, agree on the cleness with the exhaust new route, once the horn will be moved to the original 2018 position it will look even better

So the exhaust terminal and chamber are from FFbyFresco an italian little artisan shop that make great exhausts

the full titanium + uv cost 650€ + shipping , they mostly made high end motorbike and quality and materials are superb

the cat deleter and front pipe are from Aliexpress, they are welded very well, titanium is of good quality - £140

Nice work! Looks great.

Realy nice work
is the rear mudguard efficient ? It looks really nice ! I'was thinking about installing the original one again... but the one in carbone whitout the plate holder is attracting ! I also easy to remove for tyre change
Where did you find the Metal Rear Chain Cover

I was also considering to install the reflector on the radiator like you

Yes so much better than a tidy tail, I have the R&G on the other bike and I was always wet before installing the helmet box. The metal rear chain is from aliexpress, look for the 390, they are very cheap I paid £10 for it.

The reflectors in that position just make sense, is an empty space with a bright yellow outline, they clean the look and you are still visible to others

New 2018 bellypan, front indicators, leather handlebar, carbon alternator cover.

Next I just received the samco gum for the liquid cooling, that's the winter project

Cool project, I think I said before but I really like the Fresco under belly exhaust it looks super clean. You have a good eye for aesthetics.
How are you getting on with the Michelin Road6? Do you have many miles on them yet?
Also I’ve only just realised you have your Nitron shock mounted upside down. Is there a reason why?

no so far I have done only 350 miles mostly in london, they are better than the pirelli but I can't give you a review. with the rally I have done 27000 miles (3 sets) and they are good from new but then they become squared and not that plesant anymore. let's see with this one.
Simply my mechanic is old and close to retirement, he mounted it the wrong way around, but I like the look si I did not asked to chamnge it
