Old stock bargains, UK.

Congratulations! I have a 2022 Vit 401. I paid $7600 out the door in Oct. 2022. No matter, I love it.
I bought it after reading everything I could about the '24. Other than the updated display I think this is still a winner. The wait for a deal to pop up was excruciating.

I checked CycleTrader this morning. The closest dealer, 18 miles away, lists new '23 Vits for $4788. Another, 40 miles away, lists them for $3999. And another, 60 miles away, $3899.

The closest dealer with Svarts, 121 miles away, lists them at $4999.

The rents are ridiculously high in SoCal.

You paid $3400 less than I paid out the door for my '22 Vit.

What do you think of the Vit so far?
Cali may be expensive but at least you have roads with curves.

I thinks it's fricken' awesome! I've wanted one since they were a design exercise and we didn't know if they'd even build them. It is one of those bikes I can sit and look at while I drink a beer.
Surprisingly roomy for such a small bike. I'm 6', 185lbs and it feels fine, probably looks funny but I'm mid-50's and not trying to impress, just have fun.
As far as the test-ride - It's a bit buzzy and raw, I need to learn where/how it makes power, brakes work better than I expected.
I tore it apart the minute I got it home and ordered parts so I'll have to update next week. Yes, I got over-excited. :D

Yes, for sure, we have curves here. I feel blessed to live here. And then there's the weather.

I wanted one too back in 2018 and I went down to see one. Unfortunately the price was $6399 plus $1500 freight from Austria.

I bought a 2019 Honda CB300R instead. They'd just reached the dealers.

I'm 6' and 185lbs too. I find it to be plenty roomy. People would tell me the CB300R looked small under me but no one has said that about the Vit.

View attachment 5702Very pleased with my NOS 2022 bike bought a couple of months ago. The dealer has a warehouse full of them to shift at £3499.
A lot of bike for £3499 new. I should have waited to buy mine till early 2024 but I had seen spy shots of the new ‘24 Svartpilen and did not like the look. I thought the ‘23 ones would sell out by the end of 2023 so I pulled the trigger in September. Had I known there would be loads of old stock at bargain prices I’d have waited. Hindsight is a fantastic thing and sometimes has a way of annoying the hell out you.

Nice pic BTW, glad you are enjoying the Vit.

Did you get yours at Appleyard motorcycles in Keighley?
I bought mine from there at the end of May - same price.
Yes, good price and they were really easy to deal with. Dodgy moments being followed by guys wearing balaclavas on dirt bikes when I picked it up though. Rough area.
