After all of my computers crashing over the decades I managed to still save this one picture of my first bike. I was 16 and it was 1996. I only weigh like 110lbs and it was way too much bike for a first timer but oh well.
So much fun to be 16. I rode it like I owned it. Not even a faint amount of fear ripping through the Toronto traffic. Once I even took it in the bush on roads probably built for a dirtbike.
Look at that sexy beast. I bought it in the fall and put it in my parents livingroom until my mother starting freaking out from the smell of gas, oil, and rubber.
