Wow, just had an insurance quote on a new 401 Svartpilen £267 I'm 59 years old with full NCB. Just sold a 2022 Harley Softail 1745cc and that was only £150!!!!!

I paid 396 for 3rd party only, but I am in London and have only 2 years of no claim bonus (insurance for 5000 miles)

Wow, glad I don't live in London.
I just can't understand why the Svarpilen is more to insure, it's a smaller engine and worth half the cost of the Harley 🤔

Faster, more desirable (sorry) and stolen more.

I’ve just had my renewal for my 2023 Svartpilen, I’m 54 with loads of declared mods. Exhaust, ECU, Air filter, Mirrors, tail tidy and suspension. £164 fully comp with 2 years NCD. £20 less than last year and £60 less than the year before which was my first year back after 15 year break away from bikes. Hastings Premier Bike, went with Hastings after Bennett’s ( so called bike friendly) wanted £350 with declared mods. It went up £80 just for the slip on, paid the extra and changed provider at first renewal.
