Idle Speed SP/VP 701

The idle is constantly @ 2000 rpm cold and warm. I think this is on the high side even for a such powerful one cylinder engine.
I expected that once the engine has reached the operating temperature the idle speed would drop a little. This is not the case and it seems that the cold start enrichment has no affect on the idle speed. I asked at the first service and was told that‘s normal.
Can you confirm this or how is your idle?

Idle speed should be 1650rpm +/- 100 rpm according to the manual, but seeing how big the steps on the dash are, it looks like 2000rpm. And, yes, it feels high.

I will try to connect the OBD2 adapter and cable to see what exactly the rpms are.

Yeah - seems high. But I spend very little time at idle...

Not surprised about this high idle rpm with a compression ratio of 12.8....

My 2020 Svartpilen 701 idles at ~1600-1700rpm...as reported with my Bluetooth OBDII dongle and Torque.

Couldn’t get a connection to the ECU. It looks that my Chinese KTM adapter cable is the old K-Line version.
I ordered a new one that should support the CAN-Bus.

The CAN-Bus adapter cable arrived yesterday. Display shows 2000rpm (four digits) Car Scanner app says 1650rpm - all ok.
