Ibeat download

If you know where it was on the Cafe Husky forum you might be able to find it on an archive site. Here is a list of archives. I've found the Wayback Machine to be OK. Wayback does a monthly snapshot and you can search by year. Click through to Wayback and enter cafehusky.com in the search box.

Just got an Ibeat software and cable setup. I installed it on an old 32bit XP laptop. Program installed no issues. Connected it to m TE630 but all I get is communication stops error. Ibeat is set to com port 3.
Laptop says the port is working properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

auto, there is a long thread on the old cafehusky forum about iBeat, I'd suggest reading that. But please come back here and tell us how it worked!
They start talking about it here:

I got it to work. There was a small CD in the box marked USB. I down loaded it and it was on com port 3. Switched everything to port 3,but no luck. Tried removing the short USB adapter cable and plugging straight into the serial port. It worked! If anyone can explain why I'm all ears. As for playing with settings,I'm pretty happy with the way my 630 runs. I did de-cat it if anyone can suggest a reset that would go with de-catting. Thanks again,Joe

Hello,
Found this old thread and I got hope :)

First post here - just downloaded the stuff as per above but where to I get the cable / connector / wire to hook ibeat to my TE250-2008?
Any input appreciated :)
If it can not be bought perhaps a DIY somewhere?

I haven't used it since the old days...
Windows has a "compatibility mode" for older programs:
Great - I found it.
Also checked with lonelec and indeed this are the parta that I would need and quite resonable prica as well.

Ill let you know about the "compatibility mode" when I am there.. :)
Thanks

So - compatibility mode for iBeat does not work. It installs fine but cannot run since the application is compiled towards 64 bit architure.
I spent a few hours digging out my doughters old compaq mini 311 she got some 15 years back. It booted up with Windows XP and the iBeat installed fine and runs but cannot find port as Ithink I need the HW.

There is a disc with drivers as well so I am not home yet, and also need to assemble the bike as well before done.. if ever..
Thanls all!
