How are you locking up your helmet?

Usually, I take my helmet with me when I leave the bike. But sometimes that isn't convenient and I need to lock my helmet to the bike.
My other modern (well, modern-ish) bikes have helmet locks, but I don't see anything on my 401.
What are you using?

Yeah, I haven't taken the time to look at it yet.

I am sure its blatantly obvious and I will get one of those "oh... that's easy" moments.

Does one of the seat sections of the earlier bikes have metal rods that point forward? You might be able to put the loops over those? The 2020 doesn't have those rods.

I bought an Onguard Akita 5045 cable. Apparently these are no longer being made, if you want one, order it soon...

The loop on one end is small and that facilitates putting it through a helmet D-ring.PXL_20201120_210753751.jpg

And then I feed the cable through.

Of course, you can also just loop it around the helmet chin bar/PXL_20201120_210920753.jpg

I found two ways to secure it under the rear seat. One option is to loop it under the plastic piece that attaches to the front portion of the seat. This is my preferred method.

The other handy spot is to just place the loop around the spot where the seat post locks down. This does make the seat very tight, and you have to press down on the seat to unlock it. But it works.
