Glowing left exhaust header Svartpilen 801

I traded in my bike last week for a new SDGT, and when they were doing their tests they let the bike idle for a while and noticed that the header starting glowing red.
They seem to think that is a problem, and wants to go to an authorized dealer to switch out the lamdba probe.

But from what I can read online, this is quite common on some Euro5(+) motorcycles due to extrem lean in idle.
Has anyone else noticed glowing exhaust header(s)?

I had it on a Duke 790, It’s normal.

@Jim2814 Yeah, I got the bike back and tested it out on cold start.
The assumption is that it is due to the bike wanting to warm up the catalyst fast, and if it is on idle then the lean ratio makes it hotter quicker.
Then after a while the glow wasn't there anymore when the bike was warmed up
