I took the Svartpilen out for a spin in the country East of San Diego today.
Here is my inReach track.

(I have the inReach for safety when riding in the desert, but just started using it on street adventures too.)

My intent was to explore a small path called Barrett Lake Road, but sadly that was impossible.

I rode back out and asked one of the Border Patrol agents (They are all over out here near the USA-Mexico border) and he said there were two closed gates that way, so I really couldn't go through.

But I did find another stretch of dirt road.

And then I stopped for a snack and got a nice pic of the bike.

And one more stop before hitting one of the curvier sections.

The trip was exactly 140.8mi and I used 2.116 gallons of fuel. So that was 66.5 mi/gal. If the tank really holds 2.51 gallons, I had 0.4 gal. left, so about another 26 miles of range.
I wasn't hard on the throttle, so I imagine that could go down on a really aggressive trip. But it does seem like you can get 150mi out of a tank with this bike.

I really enjoyed the ride!

What an swesome route! The views from your photos are really nice. I've never ridden on dirt roads with my Svart, need to try that out.
