new rider
Hello,
First of all please excuse me as I am using a translator on the internet.
I am a brand new owner of a Vitpilen 401 year 2019, it's really a great bike
I'm in the middle of looking for information to remove or change this horrible dashboard.... I found some info to know that it's not simple at all
Have any of you taken the plunge?
At the moment, I'm considering 3 solutions, in order of preference:
1) Use a Bluetooth adapter / diagnostic socket + application on the phone. It works on cars, but does it also work on motorcycles?
2) Find a Vitpilen 250 dashboard, something tells me it's plug&play and compatible with the 2019 can-bus. But we still have to find it, and make sure it's compatible.
3) Open an original dashboard, recover the PCB and LCD screen, then make a new box to my liking. But it takes a lot of work to get a satisfactory result.
I look forward to discussing the subject with you.
Thanks in advance
JB
