I recently purchased a low hour (30 hours) FE 450 and after riding a few hundred miles the chain has considerably stretched and loosened. Despite adjusting the wheel, the chain remains too long and I need to remove a link or two.
Two questions:
1) Is it normal for a newer chain to materially stretch so much that you need to remove a link?
2) Despite trying to remove the master link, I can't get the pin to budge. I've read forums but want to confirm what type of chain I'm working with before making further attempts. Please take a look at the pics and let me know what type of chain this is and provide any advice on removing the master link.
