Well, the Yamaha Tracer 700 I had was not a great succes. I just didn't really like it. Throttle was snatchy, suspension was still a bit sh*t despite having a Hyperpro Shock and Hyperpro springs and oil in the forks.
Seat gave me grief on rides longer than an hour. Comfort seat made no difference here either. Wind buffeting was annoying as well.
So end of last season I decided that it should go.
I was looking at Triumph Street Triples as a replacement, mainly the 2017-2019 RS version.
I always liked the look of them, and everybody always raves about them being great bikes.
And then Triumph launched the new 2023 Street Triple line-up and I fell in love
So I got myself to the nearest dealer, brought the Tracer with me, agreed a deal and then the long wait began.
6 months later, it's finally here:
The Street Triple RS Moto2 Limited edition #511
I'm absolutely over the moon! First service is planned for 14th of June, I picked it up a week ago and it's now done about 730km.
What an amazing bike! It's so smooth and so effortless, the chassis is amazing! I absolutely love it and still have to pinch myself everytime I walk into the garage
