My 401 leans a lot. Not sure if this is an issue with others. But I took a good look at the way the bolt works and my simple solution is to put a washer on the outside. Not sure what size as it was a spare Bombardier washer from my snowmobile ski bolt. The side stand doesn’t wobble about anymore and the lean is much less than before. When I was loaded up for my trip the bike looked like it was gonna topple over…so I did this when I got back.
On my trip, before fix. Not the greatest pic but it’s leaning. There’s some weight on there but it’s noticeably better now even when it’s not loaded!
