I’ve got a 2016 Husqvarna te300 with only a half dozen rides on it. Last time I was out it died and I had to push it back. I thought I fouled the plug so got a new one on my way home swapped it but it wouldn’t start. I verified it is getting spark by pulling the plug and starting the bike with it against the engine and it looks strong and consistent. I pulled the carb and thoroughly cleaned it still no luck. I changed the air filter nothing. I then checked the reed valves and they seemed to not be perfectly sealed when closed just a little light showing when looking through could that be the issue? I also disconnected the kill switch and nothing. But then alas I poured a bit of gas down the spark plug hole and it fired up for a few seconds. What should I do from here could the reed valves be messed up? the carb is shinny clean but something must be messed up with the fuel delivery?
