    The Svart 401 has completely vanished from the Husq site. It's as if it has been discontinued, at least on their US site.

    The Husqvarna site lists 2024 Vitpilen 401s but does not list 2025 Vitpilen 401s. It does not list Svartpilen 401s at all, 2024 or 2025.

    I'd go with the 2024. I like both but the 2024 is probably a better bike and resell value has got to be better. That being said, I'm happy with my '22 Vitpilen. Clip on handlebars are a rarity on a small displacement naked bike and make it special.

    FWIW. My car just started doing that and I suspect it's because I have a burned out or soon to be burned out bulb and it's a warning sign by design. It only does it when I signal left, normal signaling right. Your bulbs are now 5 years old.

    Looks boss! Glad that you are able to go out and ride. I rode last Sunday and I was thinkin' that gearing it DOWN might be better for the roads that I ride. I am not using 5th and 6th gears much.

    Good points but you pay sales tax whether you buy new or used. A friend was having his 1 year old Toyota serviced and the sales manager asked him if he'd like to trade it in on a brand new one for $2000. He declined because it also meant paying sales tax and license on a $45k car, lol...

    CycleCruza on YouTube has a 690 SM and thought that the 390 might be better, that the 690 has too much power. I would think that a guy like Gesichtswurst with all his skill, knows what he wants.

    The quality of what he's building will undoubtedly be better than a turnkey SM. Perhaps he wanted a SM based on the 390 motor. Only recently did KTM introduce the 390 SM.
