Should this little tube below the right fuel tank be vented or not? On my bike the “angle piece” hose fitting was attached/melted to the exhaust manifold and sealed shut. When I dislodged it from the manifold and removed the “angle piece” plug from the tube, I heard some venting taking place.

Noticing that the Norden 901 specifies a much tighter drive chain slack (like the Vitpilen 701) than any bike I have previously experienced. Who else is going with the 5mm slack adjustment & why?

still waiting on some parts for the cast alloy wheels which will be for track use. The stainless spoked wheels for street. Keeping the stock exhaust for now as will “appear” legal and assumed to be carrying the catalytic converter... plus I won’t piss off the neighbors.
