    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

Thanks Tom, interesting ! Actually after a ride today i put it back to its place. The good thing with the Remus is that it's very simple to install / uninstall, just 3 screws and rock on ! I love the sound without the DB very much and it's what's the bike supposed to sound like ! But for longer...

    Winter Warriors! Who's still riding?

Heated grips on, three levels of heat as you can see on the dashboard. I also find that they have less grip than the stock ones but not a real issue...

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

I have the 401 for the summer and it doesn't heat at all ! On the 801, i would have kept the stock exhaust if i could have modified it though, because it's really part of the bike's design, too bad it sounds is so weak !

Yes ! Actually i've never been there but it really seems a top place to ride ! One thing though that you'll probably notice more during the summer : the 801 heats a lot, it's damn hot and not so enjoyable imo when it's really hot outside... You lucky Texans also have Briskets and Texas monthly...

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

900 euros here in France, less than the Akra... Imo sounds better too, the best thing being the db killer more easily removable. Though there are many other aftermarket exhaust than sounds great, maybe better and for a cheaper price... I didn't ride a lot without the db but for now with the...

Today was the first maintenance and Remus Exhaust install, plus the heated grips and removal of rear peg's ! The sound was nice but it kinda needed more so i skiped the Db-killer back home ! Pics :

    801 Helmets....

The Concept X is awesome Tom, definitly matches the ride ! Anthracite the right color for you Toast ? It's a mess with the colors at Shoei : grey, chalk, silver, light silver, mat dark grey, plus photos that doesn't reflect reality or are just the wrong ones ! Am definitely trying to match the...

    801 Helmets....

Hi folks ! I recently learned that normaly a helmet is supposed to be changed quite often, (every five year !!?), and i think i need to change my old Shoei GT-Air 2... Been lurking on the new Neo-Tec 3 for the front opening. I choose my helmets for confort and emphasis on visibility with light...

Interesting, thanks for the feedback Dhd12 ! Fact is i am really really happy with the Metzeler on my 401 ! it seems better and sportier on dry road, but not on the wet... I usually don't drive under rain but got caught in it yesterday... I asked Grok what he thinks about it :

Great Afternoon Ride Today ! The crew is getting bigger... ^^ Though i lost the rear two times and the feeling was kinda tricky on re-accell and slippy roads... Maybe a little underpressure or it's me pushing too much... Hence thinking about changing the rear for Michelin Road 6, any feedback...

Lovely ! These ballads on the countryside are where i enjoy my 801 the most, not speeding just cruising and enjoying the landscape... I could do this all day everyday ! ^^
