Put a little more time on it today.

Duke 390 (2024+) tail tidy adapted to the 801

I will try to find some time this weekend to perfect mine (keeping the same angle though I think). By the way, I ordered mine (as we discussed) via Ali. I wouldn't be surprised if the tail tidy came from the same factory after having a close look at your pictures above. The packaging is worse...

Duke 390 (2024+) tail tidy adapted to the 801

Well firstly I did this angle to ensure there was enough thread to hold the tail tidy in place, (I used the original holes). Secondly, I didn't mill it off (wasn't that easy to clamp into place correctly), I cut it with an angle grinder and grinding the rest. So after a while I was fed up with...

Duke 390 (2024+) tail tidy adapted to the 801

I also went this route with the help of Tom. I didn't manage to properly finish it because I didn't have the time (too long bolt here and there, I made a mistake with the mounting of the plate(?), the plate light is not connected yet, and didn't fix rear bolts yet). Also I have the angle less...

    801 service reset

If i were you I would still check up on the extended warranty. I'm also all for DIY but seeing these motors had issues (in the past?) I'm not risking it.

    801 service reset

Consider your warranty. I get extended warranty if I keep it serviced at a dealer.. also they lift the 6500rpm shift light and they change a(the?) oil squirter, not just oil and filter.

    Exhaust

Exactly the same story here, though my one dealer with the L model, told me it was possible (to try to have me buy that one). He said it was possible to swap the ECU's and then it should be the same, but there were issues with everything on paper but yeah. After checking with another dealer they...

    801 owners club

Hmm. Interesting! Thanks for the information! Seems like it's doable, but not sure whether with the 990 bracket it's worth enough to modify it. Maybe some kind of custom bracket to mount it more horizontal and not stand so vertical like on the 990. When I have the time I'll need to remove the...

Has anybody considered repositioning / removing the screen? I saw the "custom" Kiska bike they had this small screen and I think it would improve the looks quite a bit. I do not fancy the small plate they put on the Kiska on the spot where the screen normally is that much. I was looking at the...

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

Fitted today! Nice sound, a bit loud was my first throught, but the OEM exhaust doesn't make much noise anyway. So this is a KTM Duke 790 SC Project S1 exhaust. Only a small plate is needed, hole distance 37mm, but there is enough play so 40mm is fine too.

    Fender Eliminator

I'm hesitating to buy a Evotech while needing to modify it.. Tom you're German right? Care to sell / ship the Duke one you have to my address in Belgium or company in Netherlands?

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

I just purchased a SC-Project S1 exhaust. Will pick up my Vitpilen on Saturday. Will inform when I fitted it (hopefully).

    Fender Eliminator

I'm hesitating to either build something myself using sheet laser cutting / bending (Grofatec but not adjustable and shorter), or take the Duke 390 one you had before Tom. Maybe the latter looks nicer though.
