    Svartpilen 401 build quality?

My '23 has been fine. I don't ride it much, probably around 1000 miles on it in a season. It's made in India and I got a hell of a deal on it so I don't expect too much from it. You can certainly tell that it was built to a price-point, but there isn't much else that looks like it (tiny cafe...

2020+ Svartpilen Handlebar Conversion Kit for 2019 Vitpilen 401

I purchased the kit for my '23 just to have it later on (It's worth the price just for the switch-cubes.). There were two different part numbers but I can't recall the differences. Maybe triple-clamp offset.

    Front Fork Play

There are bushing between the upper and lower tubes that are a wear-item, these may be in need of replacement.

    I think i have messed up !

Removing the resonator shouldn't give you more vibration.

    Modified 401

Welcome Daz. Are you looking at taller suspension then as well? Seems to me some have swapped stock for Adventure bits to increase height.

There are some crazy deals on '24 Svarts!

A dealer in St Charles, MO had a bunch of Svarts for half price. Beware the "fees" though...

    Possibly selling

$3k is probably on the upper end for a '19 but I'd start there and see what happens. The economy and time of year is not going to help.

Maybe bias to one side and sling the rear to the other? 6' bed for the win!

    Handlebar Position

Well I finally decided to go with the Svart handlebar kit on my Vit (like Colly used). Should be here by next weekend. I just feel I'd ride it more if it was a bit more comfortable.

How many kilometers on your 401?

Maybe a 1000 miles on mine. Dividing my riding among 5 bikes and usually just default to the Africa Twin.

    Void left from baffle chamber

I agree. Imagine what the wheelbase could be!

Year to year changes and ground clearance for US?

I do not. My Vit is street only and I prefer the current exhaust layout. There is a thread here with someone running Duke/Svart exhaust I believe...

Year to year changes and ground clearance for US?

'20 - '23 exhaust routs under the engine so I would assume the swap would get you that height back.

Struggling to sell my Vit 701

I would consider it more of a Cafe style with the low bars. Like a smaller Triumph Thruxton. There aren't many in the midwest, if there were, I'd have one. Got a picture?

    Handlebar Position

Interesting. US Vits had the spoked wheels which I agree are cooler than cast.

    FuelX Lite

I like that can. I'm still running the stocker and waiting for "the one". This may be it and if it's not I'm not out much. (y)

    Bar end mirrors

I bought those cheap Fenrir mirrors off Amazon. They are rebranded by several companies but all look the same. They look and work great so far.
