    Dutch Vitpilen 701

My dealer has been trying to fit me into a Rev'it mesh summer jacket for maybe the last 3 summers, I have a couple of different Rev'it sets of gear, but that's for the other 3 seasons, and in the summer I tend to wear Dainese Leather jacket, have matching pants, but ever since I bought a pair of...

Ok good to know I'm not imagining the harshness and think it needs improving, :poop: sums it up quite well, KTM/Husqvarna seem to have cheeped out in some areas on these bikes, and it seems to be good a devouring good quantities of money :(

nampus, your shock is looking new, did the shop give it a good polish up and rebuild.? Which bike was it off originally .? I am finding the stock shock quite harsh on slow speed corrugations an bumps, have taken the setting out to the comfort listed setting, but not noticed much difference...

nampus, thank you very much for your very detailed reply and pics. I am familiar with the SW Motech stuff, and already have a couple first gen rings I used on other bikes, interestingly when they went to the new evo ring the bags moved from gen one to, and the Ion came in, I have two bigger...

The 2020 Vitpilen comes with the black stem nut, something I picked up on when looking at and trying to decide between a 2019 or 2020 myear. Also like the black one.

    Aftermarket parts questions

Ray, Is your tank bag the Ion 1.? What was the ring part number to match the bike please.? I was playing around trying to mount the Unit rear bag rack to the bike today, the supplied bolts don't seem to screw in, and it seems the hole in the outer metal rear subframe doesn't quite line up with...

    Still no snow in SoCal

My thoughts exactly, think I'm still trying to keep hold of my younger full on sportsbike days ;) Another thing I have found Indispensable is the ATLAS Throttle lock off my Africa twin, top mount black job, lets me give my hand/wrist a rest off the bar, and the next best thing to a full...

Great you got a initial ride in, yes I second the engine smoothness, had a couple Ktm 640's in early 2000's, a Duke, and a big tank adventure, gosh they were VERY vibey and the reason I didn't keep for long, my current concern is with the gearbox, it seems harsh to change, and hoping it will...

Max, your running the Gilles bar risers, I am finding I get a numb right hand and sore wrists quit quickly with my new Husky, Was not expecting that as my Kawasaki Ninja 400 also had low bars, but maybe these are a bit lower, so I been looking at the options online, how do you find those...

Does anyone make a front fender extender for the Svartpilen 701?

I'm interested to see how it goes in service, maybe a pic of it from more rear side forward if you can be bothered, and I'd love to see a couple pics of your exhaust and your thoughts on it, local dealer here likes to fit the LeoVince shorty, but I'm not a fan of it, so looking at other options...

Does anyone make a front fender extender for the Svartpilen 701?

That looks pretty good, and will probably keep more crap off than the plastic Pyramid job, and probably cost a fraction of the amount. How many screws did you end up using.? Also what brand is your cat delete pipe.?

Anyone seen any 2021 news yet?

We live in hope, I have a Honda Africa Twin, and could see myself on a lighter 900 size before I'm much older, the Norden as show is a nice looking package in my eyes.
