    Heated Grips

There are available accessory outlets in a couple spots but I don't know what the current limit is. I thought handgrip heaters would be high but if it is only a 5A fuse you could tie in to those just fine.

Where in the US are you?

    801 Vitpilen?

It would be printed in sections. Fusion 360 doesn't care how big your design is so I would make it in one piece and then print out the right or left half in two or three pieces. I would have to do that anyway to really nail down the mounting points since I would be making measurements, I don't...

    801 Vitpilen?

They've shown up in Florida. I'm getting excited. First thing I'm doing is 3d printing a bunch of tank cover variants to play with, this thing is going to look like a proper cafe bike. A small headlight fairing like the customized one that showed up at the bike show and some motogadget...

    2025 KTM 390 Supermoto, $5499

Hahaha. I had no idea it was that much. ok, so this thing is less than half the price that's pretty great. Who the hell would pay 13 grand for a KTM thumper? No wonder they are bankrupt.

    2025 KTM 390 Supermoto, $5499

Therein lies the problem. Price is great and I guess if that is your limiting factor then it is a good idea, but when you can get a 690 with real nuts and it weighs the same what is the point. They should try to get it down to 300#, then it could really be a hoot. I played for an afternoon...

    Fuel-X location

Same, although the first thing I did was swap to a Shorai to drop the 6 lbs and gain space. The FuelX sits right where the stock battery was.

    39 tooth rear sprocket- unreasonable?

You must have the greatest 401 ever built or you are 6'5", 100 lbs and ride all the way back on the seat. With the same mods as you this bike doesn't have enough nuts to power wheelie in 2nd unless I ride off a cliff.

    39 tooth rear sprocket- unreasonable?

16 are available everywhere here. I only did both because I also wanted the weight loss in the rear, it was 1.5#.

    39 tooth rear sprocket- unreasonable?

He wants a taller ratio, the front has to get bigger not smaller unless my brain is broken.

    39 tooth rear sprocket- unreasonable?

I went to a 44tooth rear (aluminum superlite) mainly to drop the weight of the stock unit and then a 16t up front. Probably about the same gearing change and I like it. You will definitely need a new chain, which is fine since the stock one is made of pasta.

    801 Vitpilen?

Damn, that is the first pic I've seen of one not taken by a professional. I need that asap.

    801 Vitpilen?

Has anyone anywhere seen a Vit 801 in a dealer? Husky was saying end of November to show up in dealer showrooms but no dealer I've talked to has any idea when they are coming in.

    Motorcycle.com Tests 2024 401s

I just saw the new 401's in the flesh for the first time. They just look heavier. Seat is fatter, Vit front fender is ridiculous looking and the whole thing is just thick.

It isn't easier to trace it back from the O2 sensor itself?

Sure, but that is for functional carbon fiber, which is generally ugly as hell. They didn't get that gloss without using epoxy.

I forgot the details of it until I saw that pic above. Ceramic coating or not on the exhaust pipe, that carbon fiber cap over the passenger seat will absolutely not take that heat. That bike has never run.
