Anybody swapped out the standard horn? I bought a Hella horn from Amazon but it’s worse than the original 🙄

Yonsson, see my reply to Tom above. Looks like Dynamic might be better for my monowheeling activities

I have use clutchless shifting a lot already. It’s easier to go up a gear with the front wheel up. We also have lots of Very twisty and undulating rods here with very little traffic, it’s why I chose the bike Tbf. I much prefer the road less traveled

First service booked for next Monday. Definitely adding Easy Shift. What do we think of the Dynamic option? Worth it or not guys.

Burried I think. Agree unplugging is the best option but I didn’t want to take the tank off and dig around.

A little advice if that’s Ok. The Lambda cables unscrew Ok ( there is enough slack ) When you reinstall them pre twist them first so they unwind as you tighten them 😉

Did you order the Arrow Cat delete pipe as well Tom?

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

Yeh, it all fits fine Tom. There is more room at the front, where the two pipes join they are a little closer to the engine giving more room. Mates up to tha Cat perfectly just like OEM.

    Weight savings

Last part of the updates for now. Also decided to remove the belly pan as it collects loads of road debris/ gravel. Weight savings to date are ⬇ Battery 2Kg Rear peg delete/mirrors 3.4Kg Akra/downpipes 2.4 Kg Belly pan delete...

The weight saving is minimal Tbf. Only around half a kilogram. But they are definitely better looking.

So, the bracket came for the Akra, meaning the rear pegs have now gone. The Arrow downpipes also arrived. They are for the 790/890 Duke but fit perfectly. Looks much nicer than the OEM downpipes, I didn’t like the cheap looking welds. I polished the weld discolouration before I fitted them.

    Exhaust

Yeh it’s fine with the Cat. It fits the 790 Duke so I’m assuming it’s fine with the Svarr/Vit

More air in will result in a leaner fuel ratio. I don´t think you need to change the filter from what I have read. The Ecu should adjust accordingly for the end can. I may have a look at the Coober mentioned by Tom above to help with the fueling at very low speeds around my Pueblo. I think I...

    Vitpilen 801

Wire wheels look nice, I had them on my 2024 Ducati Scrambler but I wouldn’t go that route again unless they were fully tubeless ready. Similar to the big GS beemer or Multistrada. (Spokes on the rim edge) Tubeless go down a lot more gently than a punctured tube which is instantaneous. I would...

For me no electric in a motorcycle is a no go. Not enough range to get to the twisties. I´ve had enough problems with my Canyon E-Bike to last a lifetime thanks. However each to their own

I’m sure you will love it. It’s the best bike I’ve had. Recent bikes included Triumph street triple and Ducati Scrambler. It makes the Duke feel like a tractor in comparison.
