I bought mine with exactly 4000 miles and I don't regret it at all. I got a very good deal and I'm very happy with the bike (Being this my first bike ever). Only issue being the battery that ran flat due to the previous owner not using it. Other than that the bike feels brand new.

The bike is always kept in a collective garage. It's really big, so the temperature is usually a few degrees above the temperature outside, so maybe you are right... I really like the look of the screen with the reversed polarization, I might give that a try! The process seems a bit scary though .
