    801 side-pannier-rack

With the Husqvarna side bag carrier it's the same; and it seems to work fine. But agree, a bracket that is also attached on the right hand side should be more stable.

    Suspension upgrade

The KTM Apex Pro 6500 Cartridge / 53182R81SET is listed to fit the Duke 790/890 and GP from 2018 - to 2026; and also the 801; I would assume it's the same with other manufacturers. Here you'll find some more information about the KTM Apex Pro 6500 Cartridge kit...

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

The stock exhaust with the completely removed db-killer was quite "reverberating"; especially at higher rpms; with the short custom made db-killer it's less loud and more raspy; it's perfect to me; I would guess it'll be quite similar with the Remus.

You could also shorten the DB-killer.

Alternatively this SW-Motech "Triumph Speed 400 / scrambler 400" SLC-side-carrier should also work with an additional bracket; maybe even with a short tail tidy. https://sw-motech.com/en/products/luggage/Legend+Gear/side+carrier/4052572279809.htm

Not USD, they were 171 SEK (Swedish Krona); about 19 USD, but the part number changed and they have become more expensive. The new part number is 00010000447; now they are about 45 USD. https://www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/en-us/technical-accessories.html?c1=0&year=2025&segment=Naked...

    801 Helmets....

Not the cheapest option, but the Arai helmets fit my head extremely good; it's a RX-7V and a Concept-X / Rapide Neo.

If you want to keep the (extended 4 years) warranty, the bike needs to be serviced every 12 months, or every 15.000km (not 5.000km) depending on which comes first. Attached you'll find the service schedule and also the Husqvarna pdf-document regarding the requirements for maintaining the warranty.

    Brake and clutch levers

Don't know if it helps, but the standard levers of the 801 and the Duke 790 have the same part numbers, so I would assume that after market levers for the Duke will also fit the 801; and many different manufacturers are offering levers that are listet to fit the Duke. 801: Duke 790 (from...

    Issues fixed under warranty

From what I've read, even a slightly too high chain tension can cause a leak at the sprocket seal.

I don't know if they will fit without any modifications or spacers, but I would take a closer look at some Norden 901 / Adventure 890 hubs.

Must agree; but some heavy "speeding" (in between; where it's possible; and at least to me) is always also part of the fun... ;)

Rear Bag and Side Bag simultaneously

Hi Stamans, the black straps are the standard Kriega straps; the grey straps, that I use with the small luggage rack, are some custom made straps made from some universal webbing that can be purchased from Amazon, Ebay or a hardewarestore; the webbing is available in many different colors. Yes...

Rear Bag and Side Bag simultaneously

If I needed a larger sidebag, I'd probably try this SW-Motech SLC Triumph Speed 400 / scrambler 400 side carrier. With an aditonal adapter bracket it should be fairly easy to adapt it to the 801; and it should likely also work with a short tail tidy as well...

    801 Ready to Tour

Looks very good!! But I would always trust luggage attached to the rear frame more than luggage strapped to an aluminum plate that is bolted to a plastic part.
