No, you remove the rubber plug and disconnect the electrical connector that’s underneath to see if that stops the fan from running continuously.

No offense, but how would a diagram help if you don’t know what a thermal switch is. Hint (take the rubber off):

Disconnect the thermal switch in the radiator (left hand side), and see if the problem disappears.
