Love it, it’s about the right sound with the baffle removed. Superb quality, it’s been on from new so don’t know what the standard sounds like (not found the need to try it)

New to me ride destination, Sierra de Carzola. Circa 300km round trip. Sunny 25deg, hardly any other traffic. Lunch in Hornos (superb) and back home. I will be back.

I’m in the same boat, minus the ferry crossing. Very slight weep. Don’t trust the garage though as they can’t even tension the chain correctly when serviced. Multi marque dealer without the correct training I assume. Only had it serviced there for the warranty. Looks like some research is needed.

@801FAN , the Pilot road 6 is quite a hard tyre. I had a little slide yesterday from the rear on a dry road ( we´ve had very dirty rain ´Calima´ here in Andalusia ) I will try the Metzeler Sportec 01 RS in the future.

When my bike had it´s first service they over tightened the chain, I was on the motorway on the way home when I noticed the excess noise. (Not going to use them again, and it was a three hour round trip ) As @Tom shows in the video is the correct way I do it. I clean and lube the chain first...

Tbh, it´s not that loud. Just a little deeper than stock. If you remove the end cap you can access the socket button screw that is tack welded in place that secures the Db killer. it´s easy then to grind off the weld. Using the stock Coober map. the bike runs a lot smoother with no hesitation...

With the decibel killer removed it’s a nice sound. I wouldn’t want it any louder 😉 I also have the Arrow headers/ Coober/K&N. Just need an improvement in the weather in Andalusia to ride now.
