I met a guy that bought the 801 Remus slipon. The dealer removed the db-killer for him. They said it was super easy, the nut holding the db-killer wasn’t even welded.

I’m using my extra display for everything, it’s a lot more convenient.

I was never able to get my headset to sync, only the phone. But I was still able to switch songs with the controls on the bike.

Don’t forget there’s a FuelX Pro+ which is a newer model with new maps.

I did. It was possible to use the left hand controls to switch music. It worked OK but now I have an extra screen which is better. Love Japan! I’m going to Tokyo & Osaka over new years. :)

If you gas like crazy the fuel gauge will adapt so the number shown usually decreases kinda fast if you drive like crazy.

The Euro 5+ is an issue for sure. FuelX or Coober will definitely amend that issue. Previous, I couldn’t ride my bike in 2nd gear at 30km/h, now I can run it at 25km/h in 2nd gear without issues. If there was a “power parts ECU upgrade”, that would have been the best option I guess, but there...

There’s no substitute for checking the blind spot, even with blind spot detection.

At 5500km I think. Swapped them at CEC in combination with the yearly service. There are probably cheaper ways but that was convenient for me.

The original tires got worn down very fast. I never drive gravel so the Road 6 is a lot better for me. The lean angle is greater making the turns faster.

A few times on idle. That didn’t bother me so much but it also died two times when I was riding in town, in roundabouts.

My 801’died on me a few times. Installed the FuelX and haven’t had any issues since.
