So, the Coober ECU turned up today. No installation instructions but I’m sure I’ll cope. Won’t get chance to fit it until later this week.

    Fender Eliminator

Yes there are some, most have the wires for the number plate light and indicators exposed tho. Explore the full Fender Eliminator post

Looks nicely finished. However looks like the mounting plate will need new holes drilling. The OEM plate/indicator mount has four holes. See Tom,s post above

    Doing a thing, part 2

Toast949, nice. job. I was thinking about doing something paint wise. Was going to get my local garage to put some clearcoat on the tank and mudguard, (silver Vitpilen here) I quite like the idea of pearl white myself. Did you have the same problems as Tom with the indicator by the exhaust...

Yeh I have one of those in my basket. However it’s for a hole in the carbon end cap. Think I need something metal to deal with the heat

I did the mod to remove the decibel killer in the Akra today. Very simple job. Need to find something to cover the hole up on the inside tho. I also ordered the Coober ECU to try clean up the fueling at low revs. Should be here next week.

There is a full system that will fit. I have the header pipes but with the Akra. I kept the CAT

Zero rust, some water marks on the matt plastic parts. Chain guard and side panels, ( these may become gloss soon ) Some of the gloss black parts are showing micro scratches ( I plan to address this)

Anybody swapped out the standard horn? I bought a Hella horn from Amazon but it’s worse than the original 🙄

Yonsson, see my reply to Tom above. Looks like Dynamic might be better for my monowheeling activities

I have use clutchless shifting a lot already. It’s easier to go up a gear with the front wheel up. We also have lots of Very twisty and undulating rods here with very little traffic, it’s why I chose the bike Tbf. I much prefer the road less traveled

First service booked for next Monday. Definitely adding Easy Shift. What do we think of the Dynamic option? Worth it or not guys.

Burried I think. Agree unplugging is the best option but I didn’t want to take the tank off and dig around.

A little advice if that’s Ok. The Lambda cables unscrew Ok ( there is enough slack ) When you reinstall them pre twist them first so they unwind as you tighten them 😉

Did you order the Arrow Cat delete pipe as well Tom?

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

Yeh, it all fits fine Tom. There is more room at the front, where the two pipes join they are a little closer to the engine giving more room. Mates up to tha Cat perfectly just like OEM.

    Weight savings

Last part of the updates for now. Also decided to remove the belly pan as it collects loads of road debris/ gravel. Weight savings to date are ⬇ Battery 2Kg Rear peg delete/mirrors 3.4Kg Akra/downpipes 2.4 Kg Belly pan delete...

The weight saving is minimal Tbf. Only around half a kilogram. But they are definitely better looking.
