I love that bike. It has super low miles and lots of farkles. 12 second quarter mile, almost as light as a 401. It's entirely different from the 401, no parts interchangeability. Isn't there a 701 forum here?

I shouda' got the M9 but the M7 feels pretty good. As far as farkles go the the FuelX is pretty cheap for the rewards it confers. I went on a 2 hour ride in the twisties yesterday and with the FuelX and new tire it felt as though I was riding another bike.

Back in the 80s I had a Honda V65 Sabre with self canceling turn signals that worked flawlessly. They turned off right after the turn every time. I do not believe they operated via a timer.

I googled "self cancelling turn signals turn off too soon". I think it was a Goldwing that actually has a menu item on the display that allows adjustment of how long they stay blinking.

The sole commenter really loves his '24 Svart! PS The article does mention self cancelling turn signals. I wonder if they can merely be re-calibrated. I'd take a look for an adjustment screw or something.

Evidently the sump is lower than the clutch side. The oil you poured in went into the sump. If you remove the other drain plug, oil would come out. That begs the question, why is there two drain plugs? Finnish adding oil and be done. Don't go Lunatic Cowboy on it.

There's two drain plugs, one of them on the left/clutch side. This lets the oil out of that side. When the bike is refilled with oil all of the oil is poured into the filler on the right side. The cap on the left side is for inspecting the ignition timing, not for filling with oil. It's...

It's the same when doing an oil change, there will be residual oil on the clutch side. Is there two drain plugs for an oil change?

It's a wet clutch which means it's immersed in the motor oil. The oil gets there through the sump, the clutch is not filled separately. However, the question is begging me, why is there a filler cap on the clutch cover? Inspection port?

Is it a wet clutch or a dry clutch? I think most are wet clutches which means they're immersed in the motor oil. If so, you might not have a problem. There is only motor oil in a motorcycle, no transmission fluid.
