Hello!
I just watched a review of the new 790 Duke. This iteration reminds me very much of our 801 Svartpilen. Therefore, I finally find a Duke good looking. What do you all think?
The lines look better to me and the headlight looks like a good mix of the Vitpilen and a Duke.

In my opinion, they experimented with various solutions with Svart and Vit Pilen, which they then put on this 2027 Duke.
Aesthetically, I find it ugly! Really ugly! But I think it's as beautiful to ride as our 801s 😉

It looks very much based on the 801 to me.

I think it looks better than before (in black, at least) and I'm sure it's a really fun, responsive bike.

Glad they got rid of all the stupid tryout software.

Haha. I hear you. KTM can’t compete with Husky looks in my opinion. I do like that the Duke is 30 lbs lighter. That’s amazing. I’ve never ridden a KTM before. Maybe someday I’ll test ride one for kicks.

Yes the black looks better. But, I do like orange. My wife gifted me a 2026 Z900RS SE, which is a red-orange color (fireball). And it is stunning to look at and ride.
Yeah it’s ridiculous to have these trial features.

Is that even possible? Or are they just measuring the weight differently?

From what I found the curb weight (road-ready with 90% fuel) of the 801 is 191kg; the "old" Duke 790 is 188kg.
The new 2027 790 is set to weigh 2 kg less, because of a new, lighter subframe.
In total it would be a difference of about 5kg / 11lbs.
That seems more plausible to me.
